Abstract

The article discusses The transition to sustainable development of the Russian Federation as a whole is possible only if sustainable development of all its regions is ensured. This presupposes the formation of an effective spatial structure of the country's economy while maintaining a balance of interests of all constituent entities of the Russian Federation, which predetermines the need to develop and implement programs for the transition to sustainable development for each region, as well as to further integrate these programs in the development of state policy in the field of sustainable development. Problems solved in each region should largely correspond to federal tasks, but at the same time, local specifics must be taken into account.
