Abstract

The variation of drop size with drip rate has been studied for giving sets. Data are given for the variation using Sodium Chloride Injection (BP), Sodium Chloride and Dextrose Injection (BP) and blood. All sets investigated conformed to BS 2463. A table is provided to enable more accurate delivery of infusion for the three fluids examined.
