Abstract

In this article we reflect about the characteristics of the cycle of mobilization movements, developed in Chile between the years 2005-2012.This reflection takes into specific concern the political system, repertoires of protest and their relationship to the structure of political opportunities. Data from secondary published reports in the media has been compiled into an operationalized database that allows us to get closer to the characteristics and impacts that these mobilizing cycles have in relation to the process of politicization of the entire Chilean society.
