História intelectual e teoria política

Abstract

O ensaio procura apresentar e analisar três empreendimentos teóricos, no campo da História Intelectual, que vêm contribuindo para alimentar os prospectos de uma Teoria Política historicamente informada. Independentemente de Koselleck, Skinner e Bevir discordarem quanto ao objeto específico da História Intelectual (conceitos, atos lingüísticos e crenças expressas, respectivamente), depreende-se das formulações dos três autores subsídios para a formulação de um tipo de teorização política mais sensível à temporalidade e à contingência da vida política.L'essai présente et analyse trois entreprises théoriques, dans le domaine de l'Histoire Intellectuelle,qui contribuent à nourrir les perspectives d'une Théorie politique historiquement informée. Même siKoselleck, Skinner et Bevir ne sont pas d'accord quant à l'objet spécifique de l'Histoire Intellectuelle(concepts, actes langagiers et croyances manifestées, respectivement) il est possible de dégager desformulations des trois auteurs des contributions pour formuler un type de théorisation politique plussensible à la temporalité et à la contingence de la vie politique.This essay attempts to present and analyze three theoretical endeavors within the field of intellectualhistory that have contributed to enriching the prospects for a historically informed political theory.Regardless of the fact that Kosselleck, Skinner and Bevir disagree regarding the specific object ofintellectual history (concepts, linguistic acts and expressed beliefs, respectively), these three authorscan be seen as providing formulations of a type of political theorization that is sensitive to time and tothe contingencies of political life.
