Abstract

A new, accurate experimental method for gaining information to characterize the sliding of polymer across surfaces was established. Using this method, essential differences in the sliding behavior of an elastomer surface across SiO coated mesas versus across hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS-OH) graded mesas were determined.
