Abstract

Improving company performance is influenced by the work performance of the company's employees. To be able to keep employee performance high, it is necessary to have an employee data management system that could help the employee performance control process. In addition, employee data performance has the function and purpose of increasing the plus value of employees and aims as a consideration for the appointment and promotion of employees. Timeliness in the delivery of goods produced is also influenced by the performance of employees in the production and delivery of goods. This research was conducted at PT XYZ in the production section. Currently, the control of employee performance in the pres-shop is still carried out conventionally with manual recording in the logbook and is felt to be ineffective. This research applied research to design information systems that could manage employee performance data, information systems were designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method so that the development process could be completed quickly and according to user needs. The resulting information system had been able to make companies manage employee performance data quickly, precisely, and accurately so that good employee performance could be maintained and poor employee performance could be improved.
