Analisis Keberlanjutan Sumberdaya Hutan Melalui Program Pengelolaan Sumberdaya Hutan Bersama Masyarakat (PHBM)

Abstract

Based on sustainability development concept, the forest resources management should consider to economic aspect, social aspect, environmental aspect, and institutional aspect. Forest management paradigm of decentralization system gives a chance for any stakeholders to take care in the forest management. Climate change issue propelled the forest management to take a walk with climate change mitigation and adaptation until it can reduce emission, deforestation, and forest degradation. Participation of the forest local community have an important rule key of the forest resources sustainability because the local community have rich of local wisdom. The purpose of this research was to identify the factors impact to the forest resources sustainability, to analyse the impact of community participation to the forest resources sustainability, and also to analyse the grade of forest resources sustainability through The Community Based Forest Resources Management Program (CBFM). The research data was collected through survey, observation, interview with questionnaire, and documentation. The research data analysed by scoring, descriptive, regression, and correlation analysis. Result of the research indicated that factors influencing forest resources sustainability in CBFM program were resulted from correlation and regression of the forest farmer individual character to the forest farmer participation in CBFM program. The questionnaire used for 110 respondents have been tested for validity and reliability. The forest farmer individual characteristics at Donowarih Village showed that 62% respondents have to support one to two family member, 84% respondents 2-3 times have ever joined of CBFM program training, 98% respondents have spouse which understood enough (50%-75%) to CBFM program, 66% respondents very depended (75%-100%) to the forest resources. While variable of the forest farmer participation in economical aspect found that 46% respondents planted 4-5 kinds of short term plants, 58% respondents 2-3 times have ever joined felled tree activity, in social aspect found that 76% respondents 2-3 times ever be present at invitation of forest management training, 85% respondents always joined social gathering, 98% respondents 2-3 times have ever joined forest security patrol, in environmental aspect found that 81% respondents very understood (75%-100%) the important of take care forest resources, 68% respondents very understood (75%-100%) technique of tapped latex of pine tree which obey the conservation rule, in institution aspect found that 73% respondents 2-3 times attend to coordination meeting invitation, 94% respondents brave to speak up their mind if there was something feel so wrong.
