Abstract

This paper draws on Critical Disability theory (CDT) to examine the current admission policies of twenty–eight Saudi Government Universities (SGUs) and determine to what extent their requirements include or exclude applicants with disabilities. To do so, the Critical Policy Analysis in Education (CPAE) by Young and Diem (2018) was applied. It was found that, not only were the admission policies of all twenty–eight SGUs created by non–disabled academics but that most were exclusionary in nature.
