Abstract

This article postulates the convergence between a Theology of the signs of the times in Latin America and the Participatory Action Research method, whose main reference in Sociology is the Colombian Orlando Fals Borda. The text correlates the foundations and procedures that constitute the theoretical frameworks of both, Theology of the signs of the times in Latin America and Participatory Action Research, and also develops a theologicalpastoral proposal of preliminary reception by offering a weighting of the possibilities and difficulties that the theological practice of this approach entails.
