Espiral do silêncio: uma hipótese para explicar a estratégia de poder do PT no Rio Grande do Sul

Abstract

Este texto discute as estratégias de comunicação do Partido dos Trabalhadores no Rio Grande do Sul à luz da hipótese da “Espiral do silêncio”. Tenta-se mostrar que há um descolamento entre um discurso da transparência e uma prática que pode calar oponentes.In this text the author examines the communication strategies adoptedby the Workes Party in the Rio Grande do Sul from the perspectiveof the “Spiral of silence” hypothesis. He tries to show there is a significantdifference between its discourse of political transparency and itspractice of trying to keep its opponents’ mouths sut.
