Abstract

In the lysianassoid amphipod genus Parawaldeckia three new species, P. augusta, P. karaka and P. parata, plus P. stephenseni Hurley & Cooper (1974) are described from New Zealand waters. It is shown that the study animal of Fincham (1974) was P. karaka and not P. stephenseni. © 1983 Journal of the Royal Society if New Zealand.
