Abstract
If the final stage of a patient's life is to be managed correctly, earlier management should have been wisely handled. The patient should have been given the opportunity to accept or deny what is happening to him. The patient's reaction to final illness is discussed. The major causes of physical distress and attempts to relieve them are briefly discussed.
