Abstract

In this article, we present a complete design for an optimized energy-efficient sensor for use in Internet of Things networks based on the concept of radio wake-up, with embedded addressing capability. Experimental and analytical results demonstrate the validity of the proposed design in terms of low power consumption and efficient functionality compared to existing solutions that are based on periodic wake-up patterns.
