Abstract

Invited for the cover of this issue is a joint group led by G. Costentin, from the Laboratoire Réactivité de Surface (LRS), University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France, and Sangi Co., Ltd., Japan. The cover image shows the structure of defective crystalline hydroxyapatite, a highly promising heterogeneous catalyst whose acid–base properties can be tuned by changing its composition.
