Abstract

The world and the way people work has changed due to technological advancements. In practice, industrialization involves technological advancements, companies, individuals and even countries or authorities. It transforms a country or region from a natural resource-based economy to a mass manufacturing-based economy. With the processing industry as the main focus, industrialization aims to increase value-added across the economy. Technological advancements have been a major catalyst in the changing industrial world, especially with the advent of the industrial revolution 4.0. In Indonesia, this change not only impacts traditional sectors, but also accelerates the growth of the halal industry through the integration of technologies such as blockchain and the Internet of Things (IoT). Indonesia's halal industry is increasingly demonstrating its capabilities, as shown by Indonesia's sharia economic and financial achievements, which are ranked fourth in the world. This has clearly resulted in the government going the extra mile to build the halal industry in the country. The government has made several efforts to develop the halal industry, one of which is to establish 3 (three) halal industrial areas in Indonesia, it is important to pay attention to the impact of the industry on the surrounding environment and implement sustainable industrial area management strategies, such as eco-industry parks, to minimize the negative impact of the industry on the environment. Industry must be able to contribute to improving the economy and improving the welfare of the people because the role of technology is very important for the progress of Indonesia's industrialization. Economic and social issues are often associated with industrialization. Technological change in industrialization is marked by the emergence of machines or other devices that can accelerate industrial performance. . In addition, it is important to pay attention to the impact of industry on the surrounding environment and implement sustainable industrial estate management strategies, such as eco-industry parks, to minimize the negative impact of industry on the environment.
