Kriteria Pemilihan Kontraktor pada Proyek Konstruksi Bagi Pengguna Jasa Swasta (Studi Kasus: Sektor Pakan Ternak) dengan Metode Analisis Faktor

Abstract

The private sector companies such as animal feedmill sector, in the form of continuing expansion requires development to support their production. Within the process, it is necessary to has the project procurement. The decision on selecting the contractor is often made subjectively from top management or only looking at the lowest price. This study aims to analyze the factors that are taken into consideration in the contractor's selection according to the needs of projects in the private sector and obtain the groups of criteria. The data was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 156 stakeholders then analyzed with Factor Analysis and SPSS. These data were validated using validation and reliabilition test. The Initial Eigenvalue were greater than 1.00 concluded that there are six groups for selecting contractor, such as project readiness, resource management, reputation of the contractor, administration, contractor's experience, and capability. These factors need to be considered for the contractor selection. Project readiness had the highest Initial Eigenvalue that can be concluded that this factor is the dominant factor in contractor selection.
