Abstract
The present study aimed to analyze the income of sugarcane-beef cattle integrated farming and analyze the factors affecting income in sugarcane-beef cattle integrated farming. This research was carried out in Tolangohula Subdistrict, Gorontalo Regency, on September 21, 2021. The study employed a survey method using a guantitative approach where the data were primary and secondary data. In the meantime, the data analysis technigue applied income analysis and multiple linear regression. The findings denoted that the average income in the sugarcane-beef cattle integrated farming in Tolangohula Subdistrict, Gorontalo Regency, per farmer was IDR. 27.522.346,3 while the average income per hectare and per beef cattle was IDR. 19.258.632,8. On the other hand, the factors affecting the income in this study are capital, length of farming, land area, and number of cattle. The analysis results of multiple linear regression revealed that X2 (Length of farming) and X3 (Land area) variables had a negative and insignificant effect. While the X1 (Capital) and X4 (Number of cattle) variables had a positive and significant effect. The correlation coefficient (R) results indicated that variable X had a fairly strong correlation with variable Y. At the same time, the results of the coefficient of determination signified that the effect of capital, length of farming, land area, and number of cattle on the income of sugarcane-beef cattle integrated farming was 55.5Y4. In contrast, the remaining 44.50 were affected by other factors not examined in this research.
