Fossil fuel is the high-cost price. This trend of price is increasing and not stable. For the future is need alternative low cost and stable price fuel. Natural gas has low cost and stable price for alternative fuel. The objective of this paper is to analyze the effect of diesel engine converted to dual fuel engines using. The method of this paper is a mixture of HSD with CNG conducted on the ship diesel engine. The conversion is determining additional components required. Then, the reduction of the cargo for two cars for cylinder placement used. After the engine has been changed to dual fuel, the performance investigated. The performance investigation is based on the variation of HSD and CNG fuel composition in the engine. The result has shown that the best performance is when the 30: 70 of CNG: HSD mixture composition.
