Abstract
This paper discusses joint calculation of pulverized coal boilers and pulverization systems problems. Usually, two different programs were used for this, and the calculation was carried out by the method of successive approximations. This approach was time consuming. It also had other disadvantages. To eliminate these problems, JSK OptSim-K, together with the Department of Power Engineering Design (NRU MPEI), released a new version of Boiler Designer program. It is sufficient to use this version to perform such calculations now. Investigations time costs are reduced, and the previous approach disadvantages are eliminated at the same time.
