Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of Adversity Quotient training on learning motivation. Ythe subject of this research were 32 students of class IX SMP N 3 "X" Sleman Yogyakarta, which divided into experimental and control groups. Data was collected using learning motivation scale and adversity quotient scale. The research used pre-post control group design. Analysis of the study were quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quantitative analysis using Independent Sample T-test to determine learning motivation after the Adversity Quotient training given. The qualitative analysis was done based on observation, interviews and worksheets. The results of the research, showed that there was increased learning motivation after training given by the value of t = 3,392 dan p = 0,002 (p < 0,05).
