Abstract
This paper presents the outcome of an effort made by a consortium of six universities in the State of New York to develop a Center for Advanced Technology (CAT) in the emerging field of Nano Bio-Molecular Information Technology. The effort consists of activities such as organization of the NYNBLT incubator, collaborative research projects, development of courses, an educational program for high schools, and commercial startup programs. © American Society for Engineering Education, 2008.
