Abstract

This paper will examine public's aspirations in Suara Anda Rubrication, Media Indonesia newspaper in June 2010, related to 'the aspiration fund issues'. This research using 'positivistic paradigm', with 'quantitative research approach' through 'content analysis method'. Problem in this research is how the readers aspirations representation related to 'the aspiration fund issues' in Suara Anda Rubrication, Media Indonesia, Edition June 2010? The purpose of this study is to find out how the media through the columns represent the aspirations of the readers related to the issues of aspirations fund proposed by Parliament party. Based on the findings and analysis showed that in a number of letters which were facilitated by the Media Indonesia, can be found that writers in 'the reader letter' also appears highlighting some issues that are linked to the main issue itself, the issues of 'aspirations funding'. In this appointment, apparently carried out by following their own reasoning, as they wishes. The main issues that attached, there are Anti-Golkar Issues, anti-corruption issues, and Some issues that label or granting specific labeling of the DPR and Golkar. Related to the conclusions, that can be drawn from the exposure of the contents of 'the letter reader' author. From nine conclusion, the biggest part is the author concludes that they are upset with Golkar related to aspiration fund issues. Among the authors there also can be conclude that they were angry and disappointment with the members of Parliament.
