Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: The objective of this review is to assess the effectiveness of interval training on mortality, morbidity, and BP control in hypertensive individuals. We will also assess the effects on cardiovascular-specific mortality, cardiovascular risk factor control, cardiorespiratory fitness, heart rate, health-related quality of life, treatment adherence, and adverse events.
