Evaluation of NO2emission from wildfire

Abstract

We evaluated the NO2emissions from wildfires using TROPOMIsatellite data [2]. We first select a wildfire from a dataset pro-vided by NASA [1]. We then analyze the satellite data of thecorresponding area using local Moran’s I to increase contrast.We mask out the plume from the background and add up allthe𝑁𝑂2in this plume to estimate the total emissions
