Abstract

Two different kinds of bamboos, two soft woods and two hard woods were used in this experiment. The materials used were Mosou-chiku (Phyllostachys edulis RlV.)> Madake (P. reticulata C. Koch), Akamatsu (Pinus densiflora Sieb, et Zuce.), Sugi (Cryptomeria japónica D. Don.) Buna (Fugas crenata Bl.) and Sen (Kalopanax septemlobum Koidz.). © 1956, THE JAPANESE FORESTRY SOCIETY.
