Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of leadership and training on employee performance by mediating work motivation. The research was conducted from January to October 2022. It employs a quantitative approach, with a sample size of 120 employees from the Directorate General of Islamic Education, selected using random sampling techniques. Data obtained through questionnaires were managed and coded using Microsoft Excel, then processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with assistance from the Smart-PLS 3.0 analysis program and SPSS for validity and reliability tests. The study concludes that there is a positive influence of leadership on employee performance, leadership on work motivation, training effectiveness on work motivation, training effectiveness on employee performance, work motivation on employee performance, leadership on employee performance mediated by work motivation, and performance effectiveness on employee performance mediated by work motivation.
