Abstract

This paper questions traditions -a particular aspect of culture- defined as practices rooted in the past and prolonged into the present. It queries the link between tradition and entrepreneurship. According to Jean-Pierre Warnier, a company's cultural values may break away from the mainstream values that shape employees' behaviour in their personal lives. Traditions do not always impact on a company although the employees working there each has his/her own culture.
