Abstract

Following an investigation in line with the guidance issued by COPE, the publisher retracts the following articles after determining that the peer review process underlying the articles was inadequate. We have no evidence to suggest authors were involved. The corresponding authors have been informed of this decision using the corresponding author’s email addresses. The Publisher acknowledges the anonymous volunteers on PubPeer whose observations complemented our internal investigation.
