Abstract
Privatization always raises the pros and cons, both in an academic context and in the context of public policy. This article examines the privatization of the management of water resources in Indonesia. The research method using case studies and analysis of primary sources and secondary. Research shows that the privatization of water resources in Indonesia is not as simple as discussed so far. Political pressure is an integral part of the privatization. This study offers a number of propositions and analytical framework that can be used for subsequent studies. This article also provides a number of recommendations theoretical and practice recommendations.
