Abstract
A bibliometric study was made of abstracts about cheese in Food Science and Technology Abstracts in 1970 and 1980. These abstracts were selected manually and then classified according to subject and other informative data. Distribution of the 797 documents on cheese retrieved in 1970 and the 1124 of 1980 shows trends of research orientation, choice of journal, language, and share of literature from different countries. © 1983, American Dairy Science Association.
