Abstract

The aim and circumstances of the special theme on "Schizophrenia Research in Japan" are described. The six articles included in the issue cover the history, epidemiology, psychophysiology, animal as well as human models, and neurochemistry of schizophrenia. © 1992 Oxford University Press.
