Abstract

Family education focused on promoting positive parenting is driven by family policies in an international environment. We study the content and purpose of these educational programs and the criticism of some educational theorists do. This critical thinking has hardly been reported. The authors of this critical theory present new challenges for family education and open the way for research on the Ethics of care and family life, study that requires asking whether the family is a specific social reality or is it enough to accept that family is what each person determines to be.
