Abstract
A new phenolic compound serialynic acid was isolated from an agar culture of the basidiomycete Antrodia serialis, through bioactivity-guided fractionations. It showed weak growth inhibitory activity towards phytopathogenic fungi and a dose-independent anti-Pythium graminicola activity. © Japan Antibiotics Research Association.
