Abstract

Introduction: This research attempts to determine to what extent there are manifestations of symptoms of test anxiety and contrast the Last results with academic achievement, study time, qualifications and gender. Method: The sample consisted of 1021 students performing a stratified random sampling. We used the Academic Stress Inventory (questionnaire "ad hoc"). There have been analysis of means, its contrasts through ANOVA, t test, post hoc tests (Tukey) analysis of contingency tables with chi square and inference with Pearson bivariate correlation. Results: There is a population of university students with a broad concern or anxiety very disturbing in the exams in cognitive, physiological and motoric. However, the data are inconclusive on the impact on academic performance. Discussion and Conclusion: Anxiety plays an important role in conducting an examination. As is to reflect on the suffering, as shown in this study, learners have to have completed the examination. © Education & Psychology I+D+i y Editorial EOS (Spain).
