Abstract

The solubility limit of magnesia and the ferric oxide content in Fe//tO-MgO slags are represented by empirical formulae. The solubility limit of magnesia in Fe//tO-SiO//2-CaO-MgO slags has been established at temperatures of 1550 degree , 1600 degree and 1650 degree C.
