Elites locais de ciência e tecnologia no Brasil: O caso do parqtec de São Carlos (SP)

Abstract

The present paper aims to discuss the recent process of consolidation of local elites in the field of Science and Technology in Brazil. In this context, t is noticeable the outcome of various local level agents of S&T. The relation of such agents with local firms, technological parks and universities create some new specific interactions that we analyze, specially the case of ParqTec in São Carlos city, São Paulo, Brazil.
