Abstract

European Digital Innovation Hubs provide a one-stop shop for entrepreneurs to support their digital transformation. A key challenge remains the formulation of a coherent vision and roadmap to set the direction of the transformation. Digital maturity models are a tool for identifying insights into the health of an enterprise and setting a path or roadmap for digital implementation. Determining the strategy for the development of the enterprise is to carry out a digital maturity assessment carried out according to the Digital Maturity Assessment Tool model. The strategic step is to tailor an appropriate service package for the enterprise under study. The article demonstrates the impact of the DMAT analysis results on the service package offered by EDIH. An example of service package mapping for a selected SME manufacturing company is presented. A metamodel of a tool for simulating service packages provided by the EDIH network is discussed. The paper consists of five parts, an introduction and a conclusion. Parts 2. and 3. are devoted to EDIH hubs and the services they offer, targeting SMEs. Part 4. discusses maturity models specific to reference architecture models and the suitability of their use for maturity assessment. Part 5. presents the S(d)MART metamodel and Part 6. presents an example of how maturity assessment can be practically linked to the services or service packages offered by the EDIH. The final section concludes the paper.
