Abstract

This article analyzes the federal coordination of intergovernmental relations in the National Tourism Policy. This research becomes relevant when discussing the implications related to the concepts mentioned above, because it is non-existent in the literature that focused on public policy and tourism. The developed methodology was qualitative type, with systematic review of bibliography. It was observed from the analysis that the national tourism Policy features inherent to the Brazilian federalism as the number and variety of governmental units, the number and variety of governmental authorities involved (politicians and bureaucrats), the intensity and regularity of contacts between government authorities and the Ministry of tourism centralizes the actions from the standardization and transfer of resources to the aid.
