Abstract
Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is an uncommon tumor that rarely metastasizes primarily to the brain. Brain metastases are commonly observed in patients with metastatic RCC, with a reported incidence of 2-17%. The prognosis of brain metastatic RCC is poor. In this carcinoma type, the source is commonly evident. We report a case of a patient with undiagnosed incidental RCC, who presented chronic headache as the first manifestation. Copyright © 2011 S.
