Abstract

New industrial trends are glimpsed on a digital panorama with a high content of scientific and technological innovation. In this work, a bibliographical evaluation is carried out to know the educational guidelines of innovation in the training of engineers. A wide spectrum of academic and scientific material, from good databases, is evaluated in order to learn about engineering programs and their impact on industrial digitization, from an innovation point of view. The results show that engineering education requires a substantial reform to adapt to the industrial demands of the new times, it also shows that in Latin America a more globalized vision is required in the training of engineers.
