Abstract

In recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on active learning as a more effective approach to education than traditional lecture-based methods. Active learning involves student engagement in the learning process through activities such as group projects, discussions, problem-solving, and hands-on experiments. This approach has been shown to improve student understanding, retention, and critical thinking skills.
