Abstract

Ehrlichial myocarditis is an unusual finding in nonimmunosuppressed patients. A case of fatal ehrlichiosis with rapidly progressive myocarditis and multiorgan failure from Ehrlichia chaffeensis in a previously healthy adolescent is described. © 2012 The Author.
