Abstract

Research on radiation doses of fluoroscopy devices has been carried out on barium enema examination with suspicion of Hirschprung Disease. The study was conducted with a variety of distances and exposure factors (kV, mA and s). As for the purpose of this study to determine the dose and distance of the safe point in the examination of fluoroscopy. The measuring instrument used by the individual dosimeter is thermoluminisence dose (TLD). The object used in this study is phantom virtual water size 30cm x 30cm equivalent to the size of the baby's abdominal circumference on barium enema examination. The results showed that the distance from the fluoroscopy radiation source, the smaller the radiation dose.
