Abstract

There is a need for researchers and authors to actively disseminate their scholarly work for it to have a meaningful impact. This chapter provides guidelines and steps for dissemination, specifically using web-based technologies. Strategies include signing contractual agreements, knowing your audiences, providing research summaries, identifying channels for dissemination, sharing your data, publicizing your research, and tracking your research paper. The sections of this chapter contain tips for increasing the reach of one’s work as well as suggestions for web-based technologies to use for successful dissemination.
