The aim of this article rests in proposing and developing a pedagogical perspective on the family. Opposite to the abundance of sociological and statistical studies, this work is a normative approach to the familiar pedagogy. The article places the educational nature of the family in the solid projects of happiness, in the consideration of the goods of the children opposite to that of the parents and in the possible current difficulties related on the unconditionality in the relationship with the children.
