Abstract

RN angiography applied for assessment of cardiovascular effects of the three benzodiazepines used in anesthesia demonstrates their slight influence on LVEF. Besides these results, hemodynamic interactions of diazepam, flunitrazepam, and midazolam with the other drugs employed in anesthesia remain to be investigated. In this respect, extension of nuclear technique could provide a reliable method for noninvasive determination of cardiac action of the main anesthetic agents.
