Abstract

Describe the application of the nursing process to an bearer elderly erysipelas patient, based in Virginia Henderson´s theory. Details of the cases: It treats an experience relate, experienced by academics and professor on nursing graduate of Federal University Braz of Amazonas (UFAM), during the hospital internship fulfilled in a public hospital, from borough in Coari-Amazonas. Discussion: Through of the collect dates instrument and physical exam, based in the 14 listed necessities by Virginia Henderson, it was possible to identify that the patient showed cares necessities in the biological and social components. Thereby diagnosis were elaborated, expected results and nursing interventions using the CIPE® version 2.0, according to the clinical reality of patient. Final Considerations: The diagnosis and the interventions of nursing have an fundamental importance in provision assistance to an bearer elderly with erysipelas, in addiction, the Virginia Henderson´s theory contributes to identify in the patient in what other areas he needs care, without to prioritize just the disease, with it, hopes that the present relate could to provide subsides to optimize the assistance to an bearer elderly with erysipelas, improving the life quality of these patient.
