Abstract

Discusses the success of the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin since its inception. The journal now relies on the Rapid Review system for web-based submissions and journal management, and the system have been working well for authors, reviewers, and the editorial team. The impact rating of the journal has improved; recent ISI figures indicate that PSPB is now 5th out of 46 journals in the Social Psychology category with an impact factor rating of 1.898. The Executive Committee has approved a new editorial structure which involves the appointment of two senior associate editors and two additional associate editors. Although there have been changes in policy and personnel, the overarching mission of the journal will remain unchanged-to publish high quality work that is at the cutting edge of the discipline.
