Abstract
Carbon nanotube (CNT) and graphene constitute the two most exotic classes of functional carbon materials representing one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) nanostructures. With an intention of combining them together in to a single structure, in this communication, we report on vertically aligned, interconnected graphene arrays grown on arrays of CNTs. © 2012 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
