Abstract

The interference of a single-mode fiber-coupled Gaussian beam multiply reflected between two tilted planar interfaces is presented. The general equation of such interference is given. Following the guidance of the equation, the design criteria of a diaphragm fiber-optic sensor is discussed. © 2007 IEEE.
